Dog License Required
The owner of any dog(s) FIVE months of age or older shall annually obtain a license from the Town of Tilden Treasurer's office pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 174.05(1)
The licensing year is January 1st - December 31st.
If you are a new dog owner or have an unlicensed dog, please complete the form below, provide a copy of the current rabies certificate, and submit the appropriate fee to the:

Fees
- $8 | Spayed or Neutered Dogs
- $13 | Not Spayed/Not Neutered
- $60 | Kennel License (up to 12 dogs)
- $7 | Each dog above 12
Stray Animals
The Town of Tilden and the Chippewa Humane Association (CHA) have a contract for 2026. CHA will provide the intake of stray and surrendered domestic animals. At the end of an animal's stray hold, all unclaimed animals will become property of CHA.
