Tilden Public Works

The Town of Tilden Public Works Road Crew is responsible for maintaining approximately 42 miles of town roads, providing essential services that keep the community connected and safe. Despite operating with a small, part-time staff, the crew is dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient road maintenance throughout the year.

With limited personnel, the crew prioritizes work based on road conditions, safety needs, and seasonal demands to ensure the most critical tasks are addressed promptly.

Winter operations are especially demanding, as the part-time crew provides snow plowing, sanding, and ice control to keep roads accessible during harsh weather conditions. Their flexibility and commitment allow them to respond when needed to maintain safe travel for residents and emergency services.
